Alessandro was born and raised in the heart of Italy’s food region, Parma. As a young man he spent his summers working on pasta lines, replacing parts, and learning about the intricacies of the brilliantly designed machines his father helped create, first for Barilla and then ParmaSei.

In 1990 Alessandro moved to New York to manage the US sales office of Braibanti. Since coming to America, Alessandro has worked with every major North American pasta producer, representing the Italian-made equipment they rely on. The result is an unparalled familiarity with all facets of the American approach to pasta plant design and operation.

Donnie Hollaway

Parts Sales Specialist and Inventory Manager

Donnie came to BDM in 2005, after having spent three years as maintenance, purchasing and inventory coordinator at one of the largest pasta manufacturers in the country.

With over a decade of experience in parts-sales and technical supply and maintenance, Donnie stands ready to help BDM customers get on top of their most challenging maintenance and spare parts supply issues.

If you need assistance with sourcing parts, identifying solutions, placing an order, checking on a shipment or tracking a delivery, Donnie is at your service.

Armando Giacomini
Field Engineer

Armando is our pasta equipment technical service expert. He has accumulated 40 years of experience as a field engineer in the pasta industry all over the world. In the last 25 years Armando has lived in North America where he is recognized as the most capable troubleshooter and reliable supervisor in the market.

Armando’s intimacy with the Braibanti and Fava lines, together with his familiarity with the North American work environment, make him the go-to-guy for all your technical issues.

Donald Hoskins
Field Engineer

Joining the BDM team as a field engineer in 2008, Donald Hoskins came from a 33-year career as the engineering manager with Demaco Manufacturing. Following examples of his father and grandfather, Donald has spent his life perfecting his expertise in pasta manufacturing. His knowledge and experience has earned him worldwide recognition and can certainly enhance your pasta processing.
